Serving the nation’s capital, Brazzaville International Airport has benefited from immense improvements in the past 5 years. The new passenger terminal, fully operational as of early 2014, together with the new runway, A380 capable, make the airport a secure and efficient hub for Central Africa.
The airport welcomed over 900,000 passengers in 2016. It is a connection point within the region and to the rest of Africa, the major hub of Paris (Charles de Gaulle) and Dubaï.
Brazzaville aims to becoming a prime regional African hib and maximize potential of Pointe Noire et Ollombo.
AERCO (Concession Company) is also managing Pointe Noire and Ollombo airports located in the Northern territories.
Pointe-Noire International Airport located on the country’s Atlantic coast, is the gateway to the fast growing economic center of the Congo and offers access to the Cabinda region.
A major capital expenditure plan, including the opening of a new passenger terminal in 2017 and the extension of the apron, will allow the airport to cope with forecasted traffic growth.
AERCO (Concession Company) is also managing Brazzaville airport and Ollombo airport located in the Northern territories.
Opened in 2013, the new Ollombo international airport, situated in the resource and mineral rich North Congo, provides an entrance point to a Special Economic Zone.
